SPRING/AUTUMN '08: SEASON 3 - WEEK 7
COMRADE GINNELL IS SENT TO GULAGPOKER.COM AS HE RELINQUISHES TOP-SPOT TO LAPPIN

Having been league leader since Week 2, Ginnell's 4th place this week wasn't enough as he was over-taken by week 7 winner LAPPIN. Despite not playing, Tugboat101 moves into 2nd spot but he will need to play next week to make the qualification mark. Ginnell remains well in the hunt in 3rd with Jacaranda just 4.5% behind him in 4th. Roboconnor's mid-season surge up the table continued this week with a solid 3rd place. Currently sitting in 5th place, he has been DBB's most in-form player of late, his percentile skyrocketing from 36.2% in Week 4 to 49.2% in Week 7. Padder is 6th while LostCause101 and Kojangie share 7th. Expect more in future weeks from Rounder63 and the ever-consistent Suze10 who are both languishing in the lower half of the table, 9th and 10th respectively. Behind them are Galactus X (11th), Thefloof (12th) and Phishingirl (13th), all of whom are excelling in other events but none of whom have shown what they are capable of in the Sunday Night Classic. It is, however, only the half-way point of the season. There is plenty of time to mount a challenge. That is, of course, for everybody except Mark Tully whose grim run of results shows no sign of ending. He is 14th with just 15% having played 6 matches. The only player beneath him is Spudfish (15th) on 5% who has only played twice and thus has a far greater chance of recovery.

SPRING/AUTUMN '08: SEASON 3 - WEEK 6
ROBOCONNOR MOVES INTO CONTENTION AS HE, JACARANDA, LAPPIN AND TUGOBOAT101 SEIZE UPON GINNELL SLIP UP TO CLOSE THE GAP

Roboconnor's win this week puts him well in the mix as he, Jacaranda, Lappin and Tugboat101 breathe heavily down the neck of Ginnell whose 8th place this week costs him significant ground at the top of the DBB Classic League Table. Padder and Kojangie are not far behind them while Rounder63, Suze10 and Galactus X are still a bit off the pace. The hardcore DBB trio of Phishingirl, Thefloof and Mark Tully has significant ground to make up if they are going to figue in the top half of the table this year. Meanwhile, at the bottom, cash-game specialist Spudfish has done little to impress thus far and so finds himself beneath Tully. From what Shaunta has told me, that's not a pleasant place to be!

SPRING/AUTUMN '08: SEASON 3 - WEEK 5
GINNELL KEEPS HIS SPOT AT THE SUMMIT BUT THE TWO DAVES ARE WITHIN STRIKING RANGE

Luke 'GINNELL' put in a typically measured performance this week as his 4th spot was more than enough to keep hold of his top-spot on the DBB $5 Classic League Table. Victory in this week's tourney saw David 'Tugboat101' Dunk clamber up the table into 2nd, over-taking LAPPIN who could only muster 5th spot. Beneath them a 16% gap has opened up with Rounder63, Padder, Kojangie, Roboconnor and Suze10 all bunched together in mid-pack. A top 3 finish for Phishingirl1 this week was enough to get her off the foot of the table, leaving thefloof and Mark Tully to fight it out for the wooden spoon.

SPRING/AUTUMN '08: SEASON 3 - WEEK 4
GINNELL LEADS THE WAY WITH ANOTHER SOLID PERFORMANCE

LAPPIN's Week 4 victory isn't enough to take the top-spot as Ginnell's 2nd place keeps him at the summit of the DBB $5 Classic League Table. Padder sits in third with Rounder63 behind him in fourth. Roboconnor enjoys his best start to a DBB season, nicely placed in fifth. Suze10 is underneath him (not for the first time) in sixth. Poor week 4 efforts by thefloof and Mark Tully see them in seventh and eighth respectively while Phishingirl fails to make any headway and stays bottom.

SPRING/AUTUMN '08: SEASON 3 - WEEK 3
PADDER AND GINNELL ENJOY PERFECT RECORDS

Just three weeks in and the League Table has yet to take shape. Looking good are Luke Ginnell and Padraig Dowling who both have a 100% record after one outing. Patrick McAllister and Full Tilt Pro Michael Craig are also in the hunt after a single appearance. Of the players who have participated in multiple events, David K Lappin leads the way followed by Rob O'Connor, David Block and Suzanne Kenealy. Propping up that list is the normally reliable Michelle DuBois but with a season of games to come, it is hard to draw any definitive conclusions.
